2010 Club Car DS 3'' Inch Lift Steering Problem
New to Carts
I bought a Club Car DS with a madjax 3.5 lift. It has 8 inch stock wheels with Mojave tires. Put a plum quick bandit and 400 amp controller on it as well so it can get up to 25mph or so. Having issues at high speed and the steering feeling very uncontrollable and not very responsive. My non expert term would be it feels "loose".. the wheels aren't bumped out at all which I'm thinking might be my next step. Also, when you take your foot off the accelerator, it really abruptly slows down, almost gives you a little whiplash. any ideas? |

Re: 2010 Club Car DS 3'' Inch Lift Steering Problem
Welcome to BGW ohtosc!
The abrupt slowing of your cart is the Regen braking kicking in, A CC dealer (and maybe a good cart shop) can reprogram that for you! As for the MadJax 3 1/2" lift, I put one on my cart this spring, and had some... ummm... "difficulties" with it! Most likely, the camber and toe in (or toe out... per MadJax) isn't adjusted correctly! Here is the page for the installation instructions, click on the DS 3.5 A-Arm lift, and it will download a pdf. http://www.mymadjax.com/Support/Lift-Kit-Instructions/ |
