Default 48volt DS stop and go

I have a 2003 48v DS when you apply the gas pedal cart moves fine then it will completely loose power, let go of gas pedal then depress it back down immediately cart moves, this will happen over and over again sometimes quickly sometimes I Can drive it a few minutes. I can hear the solenoid pull in when pedal is depressed each time. Any thoughts??? Batteries are fully charged, checked all connections.

The early DS IQ cars such as yours are missing a resistor in the wire harness to keep this dropout from occurring. I can't guarantee that this is your problem, but if your battery voltage is strong, there's a good chance it will fix your problem if you install the #102355201 bypass harness.

This cart has never done this before owned it for 7 years, you still think the fix could be wiring harness?

Is your cart an IQ? If it is, your serial number will begin with AQ.

We have them in the "wire harness" section of our web store.... Yes it's very possible that it could be your issue even though it hasn't ever done it before. None of them did it when they were new but it gradually gets worse and worse. Like I said, I can't guarantee it's your issue but I'll give you the opportunity to try it if you'd like. If it doesn't work, send it back and I'll refund you everything except shipping.
