Default Club car predecent differential problem

So only one tire on the golf cart was breaking so i jacked it up today found that it was a loose brake cable. I figured that out by giving it some gas then braking. When I did that I found that the passenger tire wasn't spinning. I had a friend hold the other tire whaile I spun the passenger one. The other tire wasn't spinning at all. Seems like a differential problem to me. I alredy checked and the passenger tire isn't locked up, it spins freely. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If both wheels turn together it would be hard to turn a corner. They are made to turn at different rates when turning. If you get stuck one wheel will spin if the other has better traction. So it seem your differential is normal.

It is not the tranaxle. Your first sentence tells you what the issue is, one tire is breaking, which means you noticed that when stopping fast and the drive side locked up. Brakes on passenger side need attention.
