1982 club cat steering dilema

I have a 1982 club car ds with the ross box in it. My ross box just split in half and I cannot find a replacement anywhere. I need to find alternative steering for it. My dilemma is it has a jakes 6" lift on it now made for club cars 81-2003.5 with the metal dust covers on the hubs. I would like to keep this lift on and not replace it with another one. Any ideas or help! or if you have an old ross box I will take it! After some reading I think I will convert to a mid 90's rack steering setup. But there does not seem to be much info on it. What parts do I need to go from the ross box to a rack steering?

Thanks. There's enough stuff here in boxes to build 10 front ends. Most of the parts came off of 2006-2008 model carts.
