Default Head lights and tail lights

My head light and tail lights stop working on my 2011 Precedent. I checked the in line fuse and it’s good. I checked the head light bulbs and they are good. There isn’t/wasn’t a burning smell. Any ideas about what is going on and how to fix?

Can you check the voltage at the switch?

I got a .27 Voltage reading from the wires leading to the switch. Should I be getting a reading of 12 volts there?

You should be getting 12 volts to switch.
Did you have your - probe on 12 volt circuit negative? You cannot ground to pack unless you are not using a converter.

I hate to ask, but could you please explain what that means? There are 2 wires going to the plug. I put one probe in one and one probe in the other.

Where would the 12 volt circuit negative be? I think it is being converted through the system? Not sure

Put the positive lead of your meter on the switch. Put the negative lead of your meter on the main battery negative. The main battery negative is the last negative in the series. Let us know what voltage you see on your meter.

2 things I can think of. Do you have a converter hooked up. If so test the voltage coming out of it. Also, if you have been doing work under the dash you can check one thing I did. At the 9-pin connector there is a grey wire at the back with a bullet connector on it. On your bucket harness going to your dash at the 12-pin connector is the female end. Make sure they have not popped loose. It should seat tight and not be able to work loose but it could have never been fully seated. Don't ask me how I know.
