Default How to temporarily SLOW Cart for farm visitors

When we have visitors at our farm I'd like to temporarily slow the top speed of the cart. Does anyone have an elegant solution? All I can think of is drilling a hole in the floorboard and bolting a wood block to limit the accelerator pedal. Folks drive it like a 4-wheeler!

Needs to be a quick and easy mod without programming. They don't visit often and I don't mind if they know I'm doing it, but I do want them to enjoy the off-road transportation.

That's the most simple operation, block of wood or limiting bolts etc...

What year and voltage cart?
Newer carts use a reduced (1/2) throttle signal in reverse which you may access in forward and reverse with a toggle switch.
Alltrax controllers can be locked in 2 or 3 different modes of operation with a key-switch.

I've got the Alltrax with the modelock key from Scottyb. It would suit your needs well! Just not sure if it would be a cost efficient solution.....but it is simple. Now when I go away for WORK I don't have to worry about the kids cruising the neighborhood at 30mph!

This ^^^

Because even if they get smart and pull the ML3 plug from the controller, the way I program it the cart will default to it's slowest mode
