Talking Restoration '86

Bought this EZGO Marathon in August 2019 for $300. It came with new batteries so it was a decent deal. I decided that I liked the styling of the old school golf cart and that I'd like to restore it / update it a little. And so began the process. Below (if I'm capable) will be the following pics for the restoration. Thank you.

Battery tray seemed to just have surface rust on it, so that was good.

Striped, sanded, cleaned, degreased, etc then painted the frame.

Coated the battery tray and surrounding area with POR-15.

Removed all the prior coats of paint to bare metal and coated the under side of all the exterior parts with protective paint.

Started to fill the many holes in the plastics and metal body.

[IMG][/IMG]

Recovered the seats and backs as well as made new boards for the bottoms.

Awesome build, great job. I am planning to do the same with a cart I just picked up.
