Default Is this motor still good?

Doing a complete rebuild on my TXT and just tested the motor with my 12v truck battery. Seemed to hesitate a little bit but kept spinning, and a little better after a few rotations. (Probably hasn't been started in years).

I took a video but I do not know how to upload that on this site.

Should I assume as long is it is turning, the motor is still good?

Was the motor bolted to the read end when you tested it? You can not test a motor when it is NOT bolted to a golf cart rear end. There is no bearing on the front of the motor when it's not bolted to the rear. When you put power to a motor that is not bolted to the rear end. The armature rubs on the magnates and scrapes on the armature

It depends on how may times the motor went around scraping the armature. No way to tell how much it hurt it, unless you take it apart and look at it. Bolt it to the cart and run it. Is what happens
