Default EZGO 36v goes faster in Reverse than in Forward

OH OH im back..since i got the Bad Boy buggy going, Customer asked me if I wanted to "look" at this one.

I'm willing if I can get a hand from the collective. the batteries are fully charged says him...

The stock PDS controller divides the throttle position by 2 in reverse. Does forward seem to be running at 1/2 speed and reverse at full speed?


If so, make sure F/R rocker switch is wired correctly. Orange wire (reverse) goes to top terminal, green wire (forward) to bottom terminal.

Then make sure A1 terminal on controller connects to A1 stud on motor and swap F1 and F2 cables at controller until cart direction matches F/R switch.

Hi JB....good afternoon from Baton Rouge...I'll chat with the customer to see if hes had any work done to it recently....etc etc
and will double check the speed comparison and wiring per your note..

Good morning JB, had customer do basics first. after confirming all batteries are watered, terminals are tight. He charging and let machine sit overnight 3 batteries tested less than 5.5 volts.

I sent him links re: partial replacement of old batteries etc. He insisted to replace only the 3 bad ones.
