Default Alltrax dcx 500 install, no power light, etc...

First off Id like to say Hi to everyone! ive been lurking for a long time and studying before starting my build. I have a 98 dcs 36 volt cart. Ive just installed an Alltrax 500 amp and an Advanced EY7-4001 Motor with Double Brush Set. Ive made all my cables out of 2ga welding leads and soldered all connections. My problem is that I cant get the green light on the controller to come on. I Printed out the schematic and followed it perfectly I think...My run/tow switch was badly corroded and ive tried to replace it but not sure on how to rewire it. Does it matter what sides of the solenoid you wire to? ive got power to the controller from the battery pack but thats about it...Im at a loss and need help. thanks!!!

Welcome to BGW!

The red wire from the Run/Tow switch to the solenoid goes to the battery side main terminal.
Otherwise, the controller will never turn on.

The Sepex drive carts do not need an F&R upgrade.

Ok I didn't think I did, I made sure the red wire was on the battery post of the solenoid. Still no power to the controller, any other ideas?

Lift rear wheels and put on jackstands so the half ton cart doesn't take off unexpectedly and run over someone or something.

Run/Tow in Run, Keyswitch ON, F/R in F and throttle pressed.

You should have B+ (battery pack voltage) on Pins 5,6,9 & 10.
If you are missing the voltage on any of those four pins, trace it back to the power source and fix it.
If you do have B+ on all four, the controller is sick.

Ok I'm getting 6 red blinks when the cart is in f, pack undervoltage. Is it possible my run tow switch is wired backwards or wrong? I still can't get anything with cart in neutral. No lights or anything.... So frustrating

Glad to hear you got it going.

I'm not into Posi-Trac rear ends, but if you don't get any replies about them, suggest you start a new thread since this one is about electrical issues.
