Question Controller issue

I have a Textron EZ-Go 36v that just . . . stopped. Had it checked by a local dealer tech who said I need a new controller. Okay, so I'm not a wiring guy, and when I looked online, I needed the mfg number. I entered the number--G1193--but I find so many controllers that I don't know which one to get. The tech said to be prepared to pay upward of $650. Is this for real? Suggestions welcomed.

if that price is the cost of the factory controller AND that shop doing the install....I'd buy that.....seeing as how most shops prices are sky high as is their labor.

so buy an aftermarket controller, and isntall it your self.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Now a Package from Scotty B for that price would be well worth the money. I hope that dealer wasn't talking about a stock controller for that price!

Stock controllers can cost much more than aftermarket and .... offer less performance and shorter warranty. You know how it is... go to FORD to buy windshield wiper blades - You'll think they are pricing the blade, the arm, and the install.

What drive system is it? see chart.
