Default Coupler spline stripped

My coupler spline is stripped on the motor. Any advice on removing the old to replace with new. Motor is still running great and really don't want to spend the money to replace it right now.

Have you pulled things apart to see what failed or are you just hearing a noise. It could be a brake hub that stripped.

make a puller
you need a couple pieces of flat bar
a nut and bolt (bolt should just fit in the spline)
tack the flat bar to spline & tack the nut to flat bar also making sure it is lined up
i put the bolt in nut to aline it

the with a winch and vice grips you just run bolt down (soak w/wd-40)
while clamping spliner with vice grips

seen where nut is welded tho spline also

The cart is a 1992 marathon. I have the motor off. The couple spline and the input spline are both stripped.

Ok, so remove the coupler and install a new one, and buy a new input shaft and install it
