Default RXV Saga

Original owner of an lightly used 09 SXV, purchased 4/2010. A couple weeks ago, after working fine, the cart locked up after sitting for a few minutes. I tried many things to get it working but nothing took. Called dealer for pickup. Driver and I had troubles getting the locked cart the 200 ft to the truck. In "tow" mode the cart would roll for a few feet then lock up again. Had to switch it out of tow and turn the key to off then back to on. Back in tow it would repeat the cycle. Finally got it on truck and when it arrived at the dealer they drove it off and it worked fine for the several days they had it. They installed a rubber boot around the brake pedal to prevent debris from accumulating (standard issue on new RXVx). Brought the cart back and it locked up again within a few minutes.

Dealer returned to haul it back to the shop with same difficulty moving and loading. Then it worked fine at shop. In consultation with EZGO they replaced the charging receptacle and test drove it for many days before bringing it back. Has been working fine since Friday.

All work was covered under warrantee and I only paid for one pickup/delivery. Dealer was very concerned with my problem and their service was great. Would recommend them, Beaver Creek Golf Carts in Joliet, Il.

Cart is a pleasure otherwise; I am a bit concerned with these strange electrical problems I keep reading about and experiencing as the cart ages and is no longer covered by EZGO!
