Re: just got an 94 ezgo 36 volt
There is a pedal box under the floor-mat that has an inline connector going to it.
Disconnected the inline connector and check for voltage in the green wire coming from the keyswitch. With F or R selected and the Key ON, you should have pack voltage onn the green wire If not, the keyswitch is bad. If so, the pedal switch is bad. |

Re: just got an 94 ezgo 36 volt
That is good news, now all you have to do is figure out if the reason the solenoid isn't engaging is due to a bad Keyswitch or a bad Pedal switch and fix it.

Yes.
Or at least, I'm about 99.9% sure the pedal switch is the problem. |

Re: just got an 94 ezgo 36 volt
He could. That's why I said 99.9% sure.
He said got the solenoid to energize, and he's got pack voltage going into the pedal box, so it's the switch or the wiring to/from the pedal switch. Even if it is just the wiring, replacing the pedal switch is probably a good idea. It is the most used of all the switches in the solenoid activation circuit and the second most failure prone, but his cart doesn't have a Reed switch, which is the most likely to fail. |
