So we know you have lights and turn signal, what other accessories are on the cart? You defiantly have a wiring problem.

I have the 3 fuse holder for horn, lights, and turn signals. No other accessories.

Something that acts like a capacitor, lIke I said when the positive battery cable is disconnected voltage slowly drops.

Is it a Series or SepEx drive? (Run/Tow switch on controller cover)

Only capacitors that I know of are the filter capacitors inside the controller. They are electrically connected between the B- and B+ terminals on the controller.

The Pre-Charge resistor across the large solenoid terminals keep them charged to almost full pack voltage as long as the battery pack is connected.

So, maybe B+ cable is worn somewhere and making contact to the frame?

B+ cable makes sense since the voltage across B+ and B- drain slowly at about the same rate as the problem. Is there a diagram showing where the cable comes from? I really do appreciate the help.

I see the sticky above with wiring diagrams. Duh. Being shocked has affected me worse than I thought.

B+ goes to the motor A1, cable is fine. Voltage to A1 is fine however the motor itself is also positively charged with the same voltage. The post itself could use some cleaning which I will try next. By the way other than the shocking thing which I could avoid the cart itself runs fine from what I can tell.

Might also consider removing motor and blowing out all the carbon dust. It may be making a conductive path, and the motor is energized with B+ all the time.

Sounds good, I meant the housing of the motor is also hot with full voltage, same as A1, is that supposed to be like that?
