On my marathon I wired mine to key switch and mounted in dash.

Got it all wired in and working. I did use a toggle switch for it. Now that I can see my voltages I'm wondering if these are normal?

Cart sat for 5 days since last full charge, voltage read 38.1 on 36 volt cart.
Drove it around for about 30 minutes. It dropped to about 35 volts floored going up a steep hill with two 200# adults in it.

Parked it and voltage was 37.1, after sitting for a few hours voltage had climbed up to 38.

How far should voltage drop under heavy load? Is there lower limit I don't want exceed?
Is It normal for the voltage to climb that much after resting?

Your readings are normal. The pack looks healthy. Here is some info that will help you understand the #s you are seeing. The questions you asked are answered on this sheet.
