Default stripped hub

I have a problem with ez go hub stripping. This is the second time in the last year. My question is weather I should be replacing both hubs. Do both rear wheels drive the cart or just the drivers side? I just replaced the drivers side a year ago and it's stripped again. If the passenger side is good, would it drive the cart?

1) what cart (txt, rxv, gas or electric -- lift, tires, upgrade controller???)???

2) WAG -- check axle. if splines are damaged - hub will strip easier. --- WAG

The TXT has an open differential. This means if one hub or wheel spins the other wheel will not drive the cart.
OEM hubs are soft and OEM replacements are no better.

Use AUSCO PK2127
We have been selling this hardened hub and drum assembly for 3 or 4 years without a single reported failure. Be sure your axle splines are in good shape. If you have stripped multiple hubs the axle splines could be damaged which will compromise the success with a fresh hub. Axles can be had a shopezgo.com

PS
we have the lowest price, the cheapest & fastest shipping on the net on PK2127

Replace them both and be done with it. I've had the Ausco hubs along with the disc brakes for almost two years now, they're a great product and I think I would break an axle before stripping one.

technically yes, repair the one stripped hub $59 and be going again but, now the cart has one strong hub and one weaker hub so it won't too awful long before you need another strong hub. MOst everybody agrees to do both and be one with it. Good news is the new HD hub includes a new brake drum
