Default Product that turns faded black plastic into new again

I'm more of a DIY guy and I really hate 'simplification' products that try and allow home users to do things 'as good as the professionals'. Normally to restore faded black plastic parts I would just wipe WD40 on them and they would be black again for awhile but it would fade off.

I found this new stuff by Rustoleum called RESTORE and it's amazing! I just wanted to let everyone know! I have never found a product that was able to restore faded plastic back to normal like this has. My 2000 EZGO parts look like new!

Here's the product I'm talking about (only $16 on amazon): https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-RR...toleum+restore

Yes i used the stuff that had The Count from counting cars.
It smells like cookies but it works great for about 3 months in our N.C. sun.
I usedit on my Volvo XC 70 it has lots of plastic trim it's the same car used on a lot of the product commercials because they all fade!

Yes it works great on any color, my volvo plastic was blue .

Its not permanent and it can get a little bit sticky if you over do it.

It has its place for upkeep but painting with that bumper and trim paint is the way to go if you can.

Used the heat gun method on the grey plastic on the Explorer and it looks great. On the golf cart I used the forever black and it was easy and has been durable so far. Put it on with a sponge brush and excess just wipes off of body with no damage or stain. Highly recommend it for your black areas, fast and durable.

What is so good about the Blak Restore product is you can use it on pedals and mats because it is not slippery. First time use on really greyed out trim will require reapplication after 4-6 months to remove some streaking, but lasts close to a year or longer after that. One bottle will do 4 Precedents easily.
