Home made windshield

1/4 inch Acrylic . The black trim is from the door jams of a old car . Here is the radio pics

Thanks I got the acrylic and the trim for free . I had to buy the hinge for $11 then $10 for the nuts and bolts . So it only cost me $21 . I also used 1/4 inch aluminum corner bracket behind the hinge to give it more support and made the clips to hold it on with 1 inch wide Aluminum works great

If you go to your local sign shop they would probably just give you the acrylic for free from there scrap pile . as for the trim just find a old car and take the waterproof seals from inside the doors
