I would guess no more than 5 amps on regular headlight/taillights. I was wrong about the amps limit on the converter, it’s only 8 amps.
Yes, it’s the 48-12V converter that went bad. |

8 amp converter is pretty lame. You might want to upgrade it to 20 amp or so.
