Re: ezgo motor
Well it will be hard to find a new 295 motor since they no longer make them, you may find one for approx 400-600, but thats just a rebuild. IMO I would look at going to a briggs and upgrade, yes it will cost more, but the performance upgrade will be worth it. Let us know what you decide to do.

Re: ezgo motor
the block is scarred and the crank, one rod broke, and they still ran the engine and that done servere damage to the piston,i think the head may be ok,and i may need it on another engine,i got one here local, but i dont no if it will be ok to build yet, where is the best place to buy a rebuild kit for that engine,i have built 4 motors in the past and i just ordered parts here and there, thanks

Re: ezgo motor
I dont know how big of hurry you are in but I am hoping to pull the 295 out of my 96 here in the next week or two when I get my 350cc engine put together and installed. I am waiting for the machine shop to get done with the block and rods on it right now but hopefully I will get it back this week. The motor that is in mine runs great, I am just replacing to get more power since I use my cart for hunting and hauling stuff thru the woods.
