Default Wheel Advice

So I have been looking for my first set of wheels for my 2008 Yamaha G29. I came across these and I like the look of them. They are on Ebay but I wanted to know opinions? the description is:

EZGO Club Car Yamaha SET of 4 12" Inch Alloy Rims DOT Tires 205 30 12 Golf Cart
Tire Brand is Greensaver Plus GT
4 caps included
Lug nuts included.
Your cart does not need to be lifted to install these rims and tires

If your cart is lifted, they may look too small. I believe a stock tire is 18" high and these low profiles are 17" high, so you may also have a slight speed loss.

My cart is stock height. I would be more inclined to go lower before lifting. I would love some 14 inch wheels but I didn't see them in that size.

Then those tires should do just fine. Nice looking rims...Clearance should not be an issue.

14" wheels and tires are readily available for golf carts. Generally this package produces a 20" tall tire as opposed the the 18" tall tires that are standard on golf carts. They will fit on non lifted EZGO's with only minor trimming of the inside of the rear wheel fender in some cases. I have some with 225x30x14 on a RXV and there are no issues regarding clearance. I have seen them on non lifted late model Yamaha's. By late model, I mean the current style of the standard and PTV models. I don't know if there were any modifications done to the body. I suspect not, but not sure.
In my experience the ride will suffer noticeably due to the low profile of the tire. Its OK on smooth pavement but worse on the rough stuff compared to the standard tire. The Yammies may be better about this but that is speculation on my part.

I will be honest. I want something simple, with a big lip look, and a 14 inch would be preferred. These meet everything except the 14 inch. They are also only going for $470 which is nice. You guys know of anything similar in look but a 14? I have been unsuccessful in my search. I wish these were in a 14 and I would be done searching!

And here I was going to caution you that rims that stick out past the tires tend to get damaged quite easy. But this is the "look" you desire....

Might want to check out these...14"...1" taller than stock...requires 1" lift on club cars though.

Madjax "octane" wheels in 14" have a similar look to your original post.
