Angry 2013 Columbia Eagle Par Car

Have a issue with missing the 48v to the DC to DC converter. Would like a wiring diagram if anyone has one . Also notice a positive and negative stud on the drivers side in the back with wires attached. I gather this is the 12v junction points. Have to jumper leads to the batteries to make my lights and radio play. Also does the rear body tilt back for access. I see hinges at the back bumper and i can slightly pull up on the body right behind the batteries.

Have to ask, which Eagle? The older style with the slim rectangle headlights or the newer with the cute little curvy front end?

Nevermind, the rest of your question answered my question.

Hang on......

You are correct, the junction that is suppoed to have a rubber cover behind the driver under the seat is the 12 volt terminal for adding accessories, powered by the DC DC Convertor.

If you don't have your convertor turning on, it is most likely the main keyswitch failed. That switch has two circuits....one for the controller main power and the other for the convertor. Quite common for the convertor half to fail. I replace multiple switches weekly.

The rear clamshell does hinge back once the front seat is leaned forward. Don't let it go too far or could crack the fiberglass.

The manuals can be found at: https://evtechnicalservices.com/colu...anuals-current

The wiring diagram is in the parts manual, section 5.

The keyswitch is part number CVG759706.

Thanks Tech!! I will look at the key switch next. Is there a secret on how to lean the rear half back? I can pull up on the front but it will only move about 1/2" or so. I can't find anything that is holding it.

do you have a rear facing seat or cargo box on it? those are sometimes bolted through so the thing doesn't fly open.

If you want to test the keyswitch, once you have the hood off you'll see the keyswitch wiring has 4 red wires to it. Two of them are two little pigtails with crimpons. Those are the ones that go to the DC convertor. Just unplug them, then take the two you disconnected (the harness end) and plug them together bypassing the switch. If your lights come on, then the switch is the problem.

You can drive it like that for a little bit (like while waiting for a new switch) so you can still drive at night and have brake lights and all, but don't forget to turn off the headlights and charge the cart or one day your cart will go dead on you. And make sure it's just a temporary workaround.

Hood removal is easy too, here's the sheet on that.

Just following up, were you able to get the manuals and did you get the rear clamshell opened up?
