I have never had a bad throttle pot flipping these carts . I changed out the pot and nothing happened differently. My problem is the cart sat for a month plugged in . Went to move it and nothing happed . I get a sepex code 12 ( bad throttle pot . I changed the throttle pot then I lost back up buzzer and solenoid click . Sepex code 23 or 24 ( can’t remember which) popped up saying bad controller . Turned cart off plugged it in for a few minutes then checked again and solenoid and back u buzzer starts working again . Now back to code 12 . I was rained out so cart sat a few more days plugged in . Now I get code 12 hit gas pedal and cart twitched forward for a split second and then you here an electrical gurgling or buzzing sound coming from speed sensor while pedal is pushed . Now code changes to 13 . I do have some basic electrical knowledge but I’m not a tech wiz . All the components on this cart i upgraded to the torque/high speed kit from buggies unlimited 2 years ago .

Now it sounds like the problem is in the motor. Is the motor original? Has it ever been removed and repaired to your knowledge?

I upgraded the cart 2 years ago to a torque /speed combo with a sepex 1268 controller and a new motor , solenoid, computer , lift kit kit wheels tires , all new lights turn signals etc . I bought cart in 2003 ran it all original until 2020 . It ran perfectly until it sat for about a month on charge .
