Default Location of resistor

I am trying to follow the controller troubleshooting procedure and do not find the physical resistor to remove. Reading is 36v on both sides of solenoid with no voltage drop. This has been a working cart now no go. Was lurching now nothing. We have been using the cart for 3 years, New batteries last year.

The only information you've posted about your cart is that it is a 36V system and all that tells us is it was built prior to 2010 when EZGO went to all 48V (or higher) battery packs.

Year, body style and type drive might help!!!!!

Sorry, 99 text pmc 25864g05 Curtis. Solenoid and throttle circuits working but no resistor on solenoid.
2. B+ 36v and B- 0v push throttle B- goes to 36v with no change as throttle is pushed. M- stays at 0v.
3. White wire 5v no change.
4. Looks like speed controller issue. No motor operation. Advice, just my guess.
5. If so, best place to find parts.
6. Internet search says Curtis 25864g05 is compatible with g09. I want to confirm, advice?
7. Resistor and solenoid should be changed at same time?

This was a working cart for last 3 years. New batteries last year. Only change I have made since purchase. Low usage.

Thanks for help and advice.

1. 1999 TXT series drive.
4. Agree.
5. I get my parts from: https://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltrax-sr-series--.html
6. g09 is later version of g05. Might be a good time to upgrade to a user programmable Alltrax SR48400 controller.
7. The stock solenoid is only rated for 75A, needs to be larger. 200a or larger. Needs to have the resistor, it extends the life of the solenoid contacts.

Thanks again.
Is the Altrax a straight replacement, and where do I find info on resister? Your guidance is appreciated.

250Ω - 10W for a 36V system.
470Ω - 10W for a 48V system.
