Default Alltrax 48400 install

My buddy is looking to upgrade his 36v PDS cart’s controller.
He has just acquired a new alltrax xct 48400…
Question…
Are there going to be any issues installing this controller on a 36v cart?

I am somewhat familiar with the alltrax SR controllers as I have the sr72500 on my 01 36v series cart.

Will I be able to do a simple swap (following alltrax instructions of course) or will there be some mods needed??? It does have the mounting bracket for heatsink and solenoid bracket.

That controller is compatible with a 36v or 48v or 58v pack. So he can use it now and upgrade to 48v lead acid or 58v lithium later and still use the same controller.

This control is plug and play for the PDS cart. Simply tag the cables before disassembly so you can easily identify which is B- or M- when reconnecting. The Controller includes a new solenoid mount bracket. Note the control requires a bigger 200 amp solenoid.

Note the items I highlighted.... Also, in addition to the tag requirement, take some photos (take two or three from different angles and distances) BEFORE you undo the existing one.

I just upgraded to a SR500 that I got from Scotty. Installation was a swap and the only issues I had were ones that I created. (Mounting to the heat sink)

Then my only other matter was to tune the voltage parameters, and the speed\torque curve.....but it's all good and I'm climbing mountains again!!
