Ok dumb question, I just realized I do not have a precharge resistor or diode on the solenoid. Could that possibly cause a stutter?

Okay if I read this right, the cart will take off fast if you quickly press the pedal down (past the bad spot)
If yes, the MCOR has to be the culprit. Are you buying cheap imports or OEM MCORs. |

Low speed shutter, motor brushes stuck or very short. Id check that

Just wondering. With the problems associated with the MCOR, and they did not come out until 2001, why would you put one in a 1996?
