IQ or Series
Five months ago, I bought a 99 DS series cart. Total stock. I liked the cart and I was OK with the 16 mph speed. It seems that someone else liked my cart too. Came out the other morning and it was gone. The only thing left is the charger and the memory. Now I have a chance to do it again. This time I want a few more mph. (20 would be fine). I think I read that I could get an IQ and put a magnet in and get around 20 mph. This seems like the most cost effective way being I don’t have a cart yet. Is there a reason I should NOT choose an IQ cart over series? I think I read to get 20 mph out of a series cart, I would be spending around $350. Are IQ carts as dependable as series? Cart is used only on paved streets in a flat golf car community in Florida. No hills, no trails, no off road. 80% 1 or 2 passenger, 20% 4 pass. Retired people.......
Whatcha think guys. Series or IQ. I can shop for either. |

Re: IQ or Series
I would say sepex cart definitely. IQ/excel in Club Car speak. I don't think they make series carts anymore. I know EZGO quit in ~2008. Club Car probably before that. More flexible. Cheaper to upgrade. Many more options to taylor the performance to your liking.

Re: IQ or Series
An IQ cart with a magnet will definitely give you 20 mph.

Re: IQ or Series
Be forewarned, I don't think that the magnet works on "Excel" carts.
