2001 lifted txt very slow in reverse

Bought a lifted 36v 2001 txt PDS and all the wiring was disconnected. I got the schematic and have reconnected it all. Goes forward like a banshee, but reverse sux. Slow, no torque, almost won't back up.

I'm an electrical guy, so I know the wiring is correct.

Forward works fine, creep up to full speed it goes forward fine.

Controller problem? Can it be adjusted or changed internally?
