Default Battery compartment mounting electronics

2002 AQ car, about to do alltrax and solenoid from Mr. David at Rev Carts. My question is, is there any reason I cannot mount the Lester II, controller and relay in the battery compartment for easier access (I have a backseat thats a pain to install by myself)? Cables are not a problem, I'll just build some more. Thanks Whit Oh I would have searched but for the life of me I cant get the search function to work, as in it goes away when I try to type in the box.

These components can be mounted anywhere they will have adequate air for cooling. For the controller and solenoid you will need to reach the main wire harness plug, etc. so that may be a consideration.

Post some pics of what you come up with.

Excellent, rerouting the harness and making cable will be a breeze compared to installing the seat. Thanks Mr. Scotty

Mr. Scotty, you mentioned pictures. I've got to do some cleaning up on wires once I get the body back on but this is the controller, solenoid and reducer behind the center set of batteries under the seat. All cables are plenty long but I had built in some extra length anyway. The Summit Lester II is moving to the bagwell....the rear seat will always be on it anyway and the only plan I had was to build a small toolbox in that area.
