All trax 500 doesn’t power on
I purchased an all trax 500 controller for my 2007 precedent last year and it has worked awesome, I was trying to get my headlights to work last night and a couple wires shorted together now I can’t get controller or anything to power up is there anything I can check or any fuses that you know of that may have blown or is the controller toast? I purchased controller from Scotty b so if your on here and have some info for me that would be awesome.

Re: All trax 500 doesn’t power on
There is a 15amp fuse on the Tow/Run switch wire.
Remove the Electronic module cover located between the batteries and follow the pink wire from the Tow/Run switch. |

Re: All trax 500 doesn’t power on
It is stranded out in my pasture but I will double check that in a bit. I’m fairly certain that is a fuse I found last night and it appeared to be ok

Re: All trax 500 doesn’t power on
There is also a 10 amp fuse in the blue wire inside the battery compartment, but that fuse is only for accessories.
The fuse that powers the Controller logic and key switch is located inside the plastic electronic module. |

Re: All trax 500 doesn’t power on
The 15 amp fuse appears to be fine.. the 2 positive posts of batteries shorted together and since then I have no power.. I will attach a picture and it has a green line showing which terminals shorted

Can You upload a larger picture?
It is hard to see much in this small one. It looks like You have a 400 amp fuse there as well, is that main fuse OK? Last edited by Sergio; 11-29-2018 at 12:38 PM.. Reason: 400 amp fuse question |

Re: All trax 500 doesn’t power on
The 400 amp fuse on pack positive appears to be black in the inspection window.
You need to put some backing soda on those battery terminals to clean the battery acid corrosion. Any battery post where you have multiple wires make sure the main cable lug is the first one in direct contact with the battery post lead surface. Are You getting a voltage reading between the pack positive and pack negative battery posts? |
