Looks like the original wiring had been altered, in any event, run a new 14ga wire from the Solenoid big post (battery side) to one side of the key switch.

I have a stock controller on my '12 Precedent. I also have a PQ Bandit. Yesterday the ring terminal on the wire to the bandit melted and left me stranded. I wonder what the gauge is on the stock wire?

I was already gonna buy some 2g wires.

The stock wire is 6ga.

You need a stud assembly to pass a 2ga wire through the OBC, don't force it or run a new cable around if You are using the OBC to charge.

The A1 and A2 cables from Controller to the Motor are the most important ones to upgrade first.

It goes to the post with the Green wire, that Green wire is the original wire, where does it go?

The Blue wire is the "switched side".

I just noticed that! I'll have to trace it out and let you know where that thing goes, it should go to solenoid, but we will find out.

I notice on the factory wiring diagram that I should have 2 red wires from the large post of the solenoid but I only have 1.

I should also have that green wire on the large post, but it is supposed to go to the key switch, so I'll investigate that.

There is supposed to also be a white/black wire from the small + post of the solenoid that should go to a micro switch. I don't have that one either.

OK, so I traced the green key switch wire from the dash. Once this wire gets to the rear of the cart near the solenoid, it is spliced in with a red wire (I'm guessing the red wire from the reverse buzzer?) From this splice, a red wire goes to the OBC and the other red wire has a large ring and was attached to the big post on the factory solenoid. So I guess in a roundabout way, the green key switch wire was attached to the big post on the solenoid also?

In addition, the white/black wire from the microswitch that was supposed to attach to the solenoid small post + is spliced/split into two red wires. From this splice/split, is small red wire that attached to the solenoid small post + and the other red wire goes to the controller.

Can I just keep this wiring the same? It seems to have worked for the factory setup and they seem to be factory wiring/splices/splits.

Yes you can re-use those wires.

Switched Side, meaning that that side of the key switch only has power when the key is turned on?
