That is correct, make sure the + and - output wires from converter to fuse box are sized for the converter output current.

Gotcha, just a 20A so 10-12 gauge should cut it huh?

I may be missing something but if voltage reducer positive goes to battery six positive, that would only be 8 volts going to reducer .

Battery #6 positive is where the solenoid connects, so wouldn't that be the end of the series since the controller goes to battery #1 negative?

Guess we are numbering batteries different, but you are correct if that is where solenoid connects.
