Default My Alltrax led solution

I see a lot of people have commented on not being able to see the diagnostic led once installed. I used a piece of acrylic rod and bent up a “ fiber optic extension “.
Now I can see it just fine next to the run switch.

Your post got me thinking. I had a Audio fiber optic cable laying around. So went out to the garage to experiment with it. Hooked up a cheap led blinker and held up the cable to the led light and sure enough it transmitted the blinks through the cable. I know this is not the ideal way of transmission just seeing if it would work.

If I had a acrylic rod I would drill hole in end of it to fit Audio fiber optic cable to it to capture light. Then do the opposite at other end to see the light better.

If this works it would allow you to run cable to the dash of the cart.

Just thinking outside the box.

Good idea! If I had a long enough optic cable lying around I would try it out. I bought the acrylic rod off of amazon so I have plenty of spare acrylic to play with.
