That would be the correct way. I guess they are out there but the only one I have seen for 36v was about $900. While I would love to have one not at that price/size.

My lights are powered by two of the batteries and fused.

How many watt is your 48v inverter and what was the price?

To have 120v on wheels would be nice around the place.

It's a DC reducer at 30 amps.

I see where I confused converter with inverter but still would like to have an low price high quality 36 to 120 AC inverter. :)

In the old days we used 12 to 6 volt converters but they were just a large resistor that got hot so the battery drain was the same.
