If I recall what Tahoe has stated previously, different logrhythms in the OBC measuring/predicting the battery usage/replenishment needs . . .

The 2.05 computer is absolute junk no matter what battery you use. Some say the 2.06 is okay but in my experience it's junk as well. They don't allow the charger to "Fully" charge the pack. The newest version OBC, (3.0 last time I checked, they change regularly) will be your best bet.

I would have started another thread on this, but think it might be helpful to TLR.

Tahoe,
I checked and my OBC is v2.06 also. I found several v3.0's available on eBay and would like to know which one you would advise for the 6-8V configuration. I listed the part#'s and other info below on the OBC's listed. If none of these are the right one, could you please enlighten us? Also, I am currently using 4-12V US Batts but will switch to 6-8V's later, so would like the OBC to work well with both setups.

Model? # 25445-03
Version 3.0

Part# 103446601
Says for 04-06 Precedent with 8V/12V Crown/US Batts

Part# 103359401
Says for 04-08 Precedent (no other info)

Part# 103712001
Part# 103709201
Doesn't give any additional info

I would use the following, it's brand new and they claim it will work with both setups..

103904101
OBC, PREC 8V/12V, B1, #6

I can't tell what version it is by the part number, but I'm assuming it's 5.3 for the simple fact that the new cars are using that version.
