Default Do desulfator systems work?

I have a 36 volt charger that came with my '94 Club Car DS 36 volt. I am reading the posts on battery maintenance and when searching online noticed the battery desulfators for sale at places such as Amazon.com claiming to extended battery life by 2 and even 3 times. I have a battery maintainer on my boat and its 12 volt batteries that is plugged in 24/7 and it keeps my boat batteries working perfectly now for several years. Are these systems such as on this link the same thing? If so it seems they would be worth it given the price of new batteries.

Amazon.com: 36 Volt Battery Desulfator: Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com: 36 Volt Battery Desulfator: Sports & Outdoors

Any comments from those with experience with these or knowledge of their usefulness would be appreciated! Thanks!

Default Re: Do desulfator systems work?

I just got through installing battery minder desulfaters and maintainers on my cart as well as my rv. I can tell you that on my rv, it has a digital readout(bar graph) for the batts, i put in brand new odyssey 2250 AGM batts and no matter what, the graph was 2 bars short of a full reading, after isolating each batt and desulfating each for 3 days, the graph showed full, so I would say yes , they work

I spoke in detail about the one you linked to at several local cart shops, for the price and warranty, I would go with the battery minder line of products, you cain't beat a five year warranty.
