Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
I recently purchase what I believe is a Western 400 golf cart. I really want to lift it, but I am unsure of which kit to get. I am almost positive it sit on an EZGO frame, but I have no way to tell the year. The serial number reads: 40002613306. Could that mean that it is a 2006? Any input would be much appreciated! Please see photo...

Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
I don't know much about western carts, but have read that most were built on an ezgo chassis, with a select few on a club car chassis in the later years. Post some pics under the seat, and some pics of the front axle/steering assembly. Someone more knowledgable in western carts should be along shortly.

Also I can tell you that the 400 in the beginning of the serial number stands for Model 400

Thanks for the info. I have attached some more photos. Kinda hard with this Ipad. I'm pretty sure it rests on an ezgo frame. I am just not sure which kit I need to lift it.

Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
Looks to me like you need a lift for a 94-2001 ezgo, but I could be wrong. I'm just going by the 3 ezgo's I have sitting in the shop. I have a 96, 04, and 05. This looks like the 96

Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
I have a western 400 Built 03/2005 in Nevada. My ser# shown in 2 places is 14V5621165W025799. I don't know if this helps, but if it's built by Western "who knows" what the hell you got!
