They are no longer offered by Yamaha, but some dealers may have shelf stock, as well as there being a few on eBay.

How much oil should be in the cases?

There should be some residual oil in the case. Maybe a tablespoon. Low rpm engines retain more, thus the super-lean ratios allowed. Fancier systems inject oil directly to the main bearings where it can run to the bottom and be splashed to where it's needed.
Could you measure the opening in the cases, to determine what diameter sleeve it would accept? |
