Might check with Smallblock or Gctech on a G29, seems like some had tranny problems. It may have been the early ones!!

I would take a late model G22 over a G29 drive with team axle any day. The late G22 had the governor issue fixed with a nice flat roller in there. The drive was introduced with team axle, no flat roller bearing on governor, input shafts started going south again. (who forgot all they learned on the dana input shaft?). Cranking or flipping the governor on a drive will reduce input shaft life. If you can find a clean G2 or G9, they are killer carts that can seem to last forever also. Has indestructable axle, only seen one failed in 8+ years here, just not as refined front suspension as the G22.

Thank you all again, I'll let you know what I end up with...if I can ever find one! LOL. Better than blindly buying a "cool looking" lifted buggy only to realize I should have bought something else.

Here is the ONLY G22 available around KC right now...at least that's advertised. What kind of deal is this?? Seems high, but really all the custom carts around here, regardless of year seem to be $4000-5500.

A G16 is a great cart, too.

found this. http://seks.craigslist.org/grd/4839156820.html

A lot of the fun is buying the parts and building it yourself.

Thanks! I emailed them!

So how much better is the cart with the Plowman's kit?

Hard to justify paying $2500 for a clapped out cart. Although parts are not bad, but nice to start with something decent OR buy one for $1500 or so to make it worth while. It would be fun to do the build, I wrench on my vehicles, have a lift, etc. I like the look and idea of the long travel kit as well. Our house has a LOT more driveway than before so a wench and blade would be nice.

What are they asking for a 22? $2000-$2500 probably isn't a bad price for a stock cart.

The G22 with the Plowmans Performance kit and the governor delete, is quite a peppy cart. 30mph on 22" tires.

Don has snowplows, too

Talked to the guys in Great Bend today, got a few pics texted to me. 2003 white seat/white top $2600. 2005 tan seat/tan top $2800. They have an A$$ load of them!! Still seems like a lot of dough for a 10-12 year old golf course hammered cart!
