Gas Yamaha Adventurer Sport Radio Install
Can somebody tell me how to properly wire a new Alpine Stereo to my cart. I can not find out the key switch wiring or where the yellow, red and ground wires go. I tried the key switch and the radio only came on with lights. Radio red to switch red/white. Putting red and yellow from radio together drains battery. Help!

Re: Gas Yamaha Adventurer Sport Radio Install
So I added a toggle switch to the dash and brought power to it from the yellow wire (splitting to the radio for constant memory back up). I ran the red wire from the switch to the radio and problem solved. The switch has a LED light so I won't forget to turn off the radio.

Just in the for what it's worth category i added a relay to my key switch that kills power to all of my accessories. I never forget to take my key out so therefore i never forget to kill power to everything.
