Go to "Big Block" section. Check out the "Bike/atv" section. Lots of members do it

Haha! Thanks guys.
Yes, ATV engines work, just be sure to get a belt driven one, like Polaris. This will save you major time and headaches. |

Re: anyone put a atv motor in a g16
It works just like a golf cart engine with the clutches. Runs via belt. Except with WAY more power! Mine did 55 mph, until I put a heavy duty spring in the secondary to slow the dang thing down! Now, it does about 35, but has all the torque I'd ever need to climb.

Re: anyone put a atv motor in a g16
Just a question: Why would you want an atv engine? You can go with a 23hp Vanguard and have all the power you need, and it would be much easier to install. You can even build those engines to get 50hp if you want. Just curious.

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/bike-atv-engine-swaps/ Just do a search, several people have done this swap. It's not an easy one though. Do a search on "groundpounder". He did a killer job on his G9, not the same cart as yours, but it'll give you an idea on what one can do. Very cool thread! Here it is, I found it: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...rail-cart.html |
