stARTER BELT
can a starter belt be to tight cart starts and runs on low rpms does not rev high
just put a new starter belt on and its tight? |

The old belt was probably stretched. Now the new one is a little smaller, so yeah it might be tight. There is an adjustment to move the starter/generator to take some tension off of it. It is unlikely that a tight starter belt would keep it from revving up.
