81 g1 gas yam

Hello, i need some help on my 81 g1 gas brakes, im kind of lost about my brake shoes , do they go a certain way? Like i herd theres a left and right shoes? Can someone post a pic? I dont have no brakes at all, i know i have to adjust the cables ,i just want to make sure the shoes are the right way, can someone give me some ideas? Thanks

I did a little write up on changing brakes shoes in "The G8 Club", on page 302. Might be able to get something from those pictures.

Only thing I could suggest, is make SURE new shoes are genuine Yamaha shoes, not brand X!! Anything other than Yamaha and they don't stop!!
