Gen/starter help
Went to take the kids for a ride and nothing........ Checked solenoid (ok). Got 12.5 v at the lug w/white wire on top of the starter/gen. Check my grounds by checking continuity from neg side of battery to what I assume is the ground strap/lug on the starter/gen. I had full continuity there and all along the frame of the cart. It's a 96 ds 8 passenger fe290. Any thoughts of suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Battery is brand new/less than 2 months old. I jumped across the solinoid to test it, and now it works fine...... Weird
