84-96 axle question
Hey all I just received my axle for my big bad buggy I'm building. Chose this axle for my set up. Can anyone tell me what this lever is that's connected to a silver wire in this photo?

Re: 84-96 axle question
And if it has that governor on it, the axle is older than 1992. Club Car used that governor style from 1984-1991. Those older governors are simple to disable, just disconnect it from the carb and done!
I like to think that they redesigned the speed governors for 1992 at the request of golf courses so that leadfoot golfers would be less able to modify rental carts. The newer governors require a bit more technical finesse to disable. |

Re: 84-96 axle question
Thanks! I'm actually using this new my ezgo electric I converted over to a big block gas, running a HF predator motor with the 780r driven. Now I need to spin my motor around for the CC driven axle and build a new subframe. I have a 6" lift 22x10x10 tires what kind of speed can I expect outta this rig with that axle.
