Any closure on this? I have a guy in my campground with a surging issue on a 1997 gas Club Car. Didn't get a chance to look too close at his cart, he said already has a new carb on the way. If that doesn't work I'll direct him to that rev limiter and see if that's the issue. The cart surges in maintenance mode and the clutch seems to be working fine from the quick visual I got while running it.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the advice on the 99 CC Gas with surging issues. per advise looked at the drive clutch and yes it was shot. Replaced the internal parts $44 bucks and couple hours labor and she is running fine. Wife happy she has a good camping cart. Again thanks to all

Forgive me for not updating sooner, the issue with the 99 CC Gas DS was the Driven clutch was not closing completely. I took it off ordered the parts and it runs like a singer sewing machine now. Thanks to all that helped. Now dealing with my 95 CC DS not charging, no time to work on it now but have got some good info from you guys where to look first. Happy Holidays
