Cart Parts Plus has a Driven clutch for CC's to use a wider belt on BB applications,
BUT... it all depends on what Drive clutch he's planing on using with the sled engine!

Gotcha, I wasnt even thinking about the drive clutch and belt. From what I have read, snowmobiles use wider belts than the 1" belt on CCs.

Going with that HD driven clutch that VC and CPP sells is probably a good idea with the higher HP sled engine anyway.

When I get out of work I will measure the drive clutch on the engine and figure it out. I used my calipers and I got around a .875 in for the drive shaft diameter.

If it is the Suzuki 440 FC the factory red line is 6500 rpms.
