charging Problems 98 CC

working on a 98 cc ds gas has new starter gen new voltage regulator still wont charge if i disconnect the df wire and ground the gen terminal to A1 terninal puts out 19 Volts

Need to check for 12V going to the red wire of the voltage regulator. Check for Good clean ground for the black wire.

Disconnect yellow wire from the voltage regulator and check for continuity to the eyelet at the starter gen. If you get no continuity run a new wire from the A1 terminal and connect to the yellow on the regulator.
