you sure that is a 108 it looks a lot like my 102c comet .
with whatever you do to that motor that clutch can handle it.
it should be good to 70hp. that is whats on my sleds.

The softer spring will engage at lower rpms and shift faster.
It will hold the rpm lower at any given speed, it may hurt your hill climbing power.

goober i have one of those but didn't use cause there was a lot of wear on the bronze bushing in the center. don't know how important that is tho. just something to check.

The stiffer spring is better if you lift it and add bigger tires,or run with a rear-seat or dump-box.

thanks guys on the outside it says no more than 90 hp or 9000 rpm right now it has the softer spring believe i will put the stronger one in ...didnt see a whole lot of wear just alot of rust....from sitting for awhile

i just removed the bolts and tapped on the cover
